It's been our friend Alex's dream to visit the Salt Flats! So naturally we all had to book a trip and rent big poofy fun dresses and run on the Salt Flats! Thanks to Raw & Golden Rentals, we were able to pick up these dresses and set off onto our 2 hour drive to the Bonneville Salt Flats! 

Thanks to our husbands  for running around taking photos of us! When I wasn't in photos, I had a blast taking photos of our friends Nate & Shelby, and Alex! This location is so surreal and we got the best treat of having the moon out on the day we were there! It felt like we were standing on the moon! The best time to go to the Salt Flats is definitely sunset/after sunset for blue hour! Golden Hour is gorgeous, but after the sun goes down and Blue hour hits, the flats look even more gorgeous. 

If you want to visit the Salt Flats, We suggest flying (or driving) to Salt Lake City. Make a weekend trip out of it by walking Park City for the day and hitting up High West Distillery for a Scotch Tasting, then another day you can explore the city & hit up the weekend Farmer's market, and lastly make a day to take a little road trip to the Salt Flats. We loved visiting mid-October for good weather & some fall colors peeking through.
